Can You Really Make Money Playing Games?

I tried Mistplay and earned $1 after 4 hours and I think it's not worth it.  But I keep seeing TikTokers hyping  Play-to-Earn games as if they can make a living from it. Has anyone here actually made real cash?  Or is it all scams?

Personally, I have tried a couple of P2E games like Axie Infinity and a few from survey apps. Frankly speaking, it is not quite a way to earn decent money online. The hype on social media is just too much like you can make a living from it.  You might earn petty cash but it is hard to get full income out of this.

Yeah, I agree. Some pay reasonably but a majority of them are just a total time waster. I said this because I was able to earn a few cents after playing for  a few hours. I have nothing against it as a side hustle but it is not a major source of income.
