Are there some legitimate crypto faucet companies?

There are good crypto faucets that actually payout. They frequently pay from the money generated from ads, sponsorships or crypto projects and through marketing crypto coins. A genuine crypto site are transparent in their payment policy, they don't hide anything. The best is to conduct research and select the faucets that are credible in order to limit the possibility of wastage of time.

I agree with you on that because the legit ones always declare how they fund their payouts, maybe with ads or partnerships. Based on  my experience, the transparent faucets seem to publish proof of payments on their sites. Any faucet that is vague on its funding mechanism or presents no payout history should be flagged.

Right, another observation I usually make is that legit faucets don't mostly pressure users into giving away sensitive personal data. When they ask for requirements like ID verification for tiny rewards, it showed that they are scam and doesn't really worth taking the risk.
