Is cloud mining a viable option?

Cloud mining for cryptocurrency has been around for a while and I decided to also dabble into it after seeing a lot of TikTok ads. So I invested in a $50 daily Bitcoin' contracts and I deposited $500, but I only saw my earnings on the dashboard and couldn't find the  withdrawal button. It varnished and the support ghosted me. Has anyone actually withdrawn from cloud mining?

I have not had good experiences with cloud mining programs because most them are nothing but scams. But that doesn't say that there is not legitimate ones out there.

My reaction to cloud mining is that I do not feel like I can trust it any longer, self-mining or staking is much safer. That's what I engage in and it's paying off.
