I listened to How I Built This and it was so inspirational. It is interesting when one learns first-hand about the victories of entrepreneurs. The second one I would recommend is StartUp Podcast by Gimlet Media. It takes you on a tour of how to start a business.

The most popular methods of podcasters to earn money are no doubt sponsorships and advertisements, however another underestimated one is merchandise. A lot of creators sell mugs or branded clothing to their listeners.
