I began with Amazon Associates and then proceeded to ClickBank. Amazon was easy to get familiar with, and ClickBank provided greater profits especially with the electronic products.

I have heard software and finance affiliates pay better than others. The web hosting, credit cards, and investment sites tend to pay better and on a per-sale basis. Amazon is beginner friendly, but the commissions are low.

My favourite podcasts are typically on comedy and motivation. The Laughs: I love SmartLess, and The Ed Mylett Show helps me to stay motivated all the time I listen to them.

Promotion is most effective to reach out to your audience in a real way. Requesting reviews and feedback will also provide real time interaction as well.

The most practical one is The Tim Ferriss Show. The GaryVee Audio Experience approach to entrepreneurship is equally interesting. Both of them have assisted me in putting into practice the needed business mindset.

I believe that monetization is based on the niche and listeners. Patreon or direct support will be fine in case you have a small, but loyal following. Ads and sponsors are more efficient when you have more audiences.

I consider podcasts a superb learning tool to acquire new skills. Podcasts like How I Built This or Masters of Scale are of a particular interest and they are quite educational. I have shared them with people I work with and most found them very inspirational.

Personally, I like true crime podcasts. One of my favorites is Crime Junkie.  For news, "The Daily" is my go-to. I use "How I Built This" when I need some business ideas.

I think most of the podcasters gain momentum by using social media, TikTok and Instagram reel in particular. It has helped to generate curiosity and compel individuals to listen to the podcast. They use brief clips on social media to capture the attention of people.
