Not all crypto faucet sites are fakes and as a matter of fact, some pay as long as they are legit. The reliable ones offer evidence of previous payments. So, it becomes very necessary to check the reviews before you invest your time and energy.
From my experience, very few actually pay. Even those that do pay, the rewards are really small. Legit faucets from my experience are those that are older, more established ones with good reputations. Any one that promises unbelievably high payouts will almost always be tagged as a red flag.
Exactly, most faucets aren't worth the hassle. I used one for Bitcoin many years ago, although it paid, the amount was so minute and it discouraged me to continue to participate in airdrops ever since.
